Maybe Chavez should take that plank out of his eye before he points out the speck of sawdust in Bush's eye?

Does anyone know where I can find poverty #'s for the US and Venezuela?

There is no internationally accepted set of figures because poverty is very much a relative thing.

Robertson calls for death, Chavez calls for help for the poor. Which one belongs in the "Christian" Coalition?

I'll repeat this: Maybe Chavez should take that plank out of his eye before he points out the speck of sawdust in Bush's eye?

??

It's a Biblical reference. The meaning should be easy enough to understand...

If you're talking about that there's way more poverty in Venezuela,

Yes

While it's hard to be entirely sure (and note that I dislike the opposition in Venezuela almost as much as Chavez. More so in some cases) but it does appear to have got significantly worse since he took office. But that's how Chavez likes it.

Yes, he's made it even worse than it was before

Doing nothing is better than cynically making things worse to boost your own electoral and personal base

Is that absolute poverty or relative poverty?
