What is British cuisine, anyway?  Fish and chips?  This is an honest question.

It's pretty varied really

I find it hard to believe that there is any person unaware that French food is far superior to British.

You like snails?

Snails are (Southwest) German food, not French.

Frogs legs then

I'd much rather have a stottie with pease pudding in it, like Wink

Yeah, that's what you do when all of the ingredients taste bad and you have no spices. Cook it all together and hope they neutralize. Tongue

Stottie=Nice
Pease pudding=Nice

Shall it be served in a coal-miner lunch bucket?

It was orginally. Not that there's anything strange or amusing about that. Same goes for a lot of similer traditional food.

You know. There are some beers that do taste well even when not served chilled. And that includes many British beers. Nothing wrong with that.

True; bitter can tasted pretty 'orrid if it's served chilled.
