Actually these Olympics have had some extremely serious problems (and even as we all type angrily in this thread there's currently an undergoing - and utterly disgraceful - clusterfyck wrt the organisation of the Paralympic aspect) it's just that they've mostly not been that widely reported on, despite the fact that in one instance someone nearly died. But even a basically sucky Games is still excellent television.
