People who think that foreign governments intervening militarily in Haiti will improve the situation there are retarded. Let's take a look at the long list of failed military interventions that have occurred there, one of which brought cholera into the country.
To my extreme annoyance, the US and CARICOM have been pressuring Canada to put boots on the ground in Haiti to lead a military intervention there (a demand our government has so far resisted for the most part), but it's mind-numbingly exasperating to see people try to use the same failed approaches of the past to solve problems.
The main problem is that existing situation is not acceptable and no one have any idea of what outside a invasion could help.
