That sucks. Goalposts on Spain's side.

On the bright side BBC are hilarious tonight. Ronaldo should've gone earlier.

I didn't watch any of the matches in this cup so far, but for those who have followed all/most of them, hasn't this been a fairly boring cup overall? I mean, it's quite disappointing/boring to have only the old powerhouses in the finals, when it would have been nice to see countries like Russia (or Greece... Sad) go further.
I thought the pool stages were really good (especially England's pool), but the knockouts have been awful:

Germany-Greece: Only one team playing footy.
Czech-Portugal: Not bad, but not a great game. Ronaldo the only thing to keep my eyes on the television.
France-Spain: France didn't deserve to share the same pitch as Spain.
Italy-England: Just terrible quality.
Portugal-Spain: Worst game of the tournament.

Balotelli is insanely good at beating offside.

Absolutely fantastic game. It's 2-0 but there have been enough clearcut chances for it to be 3-2.

Clearly Ireland were the fourth best team in this tournament.

I wouldn't call Italy-Germany a shock, but that was some tennis match- apparently. The guys in the other room didn't tell me they were watching a classic.

2 years ago I was anyone but Italy, but they play the best football out of all the teams. Come on Italy.
