An Irish TV pundit said at halftime that we can turn off the tv because there won't be any more goals in this game. Lol.

France-4
Ukraine/Sweden-3
England-1

That would be one hell of a last day.

I actually think Ireland is the one team he would shine against.

Shouldn't Russia be advancing with a better goal difference?

UEFA has silly/different rules than FIFA.
Head to head makes more sense than goal difference.

The referee has been a disaster for the Ireland-Italy game. Fall down and you receive a free kick, every time. Not to mention the wall antics.

That's it, pool over. What was the second yellow for Andrews for?

People are whining that the goal line referees are useless/haven't gotten any calls right this tournament? Uh...they must have missed yesterday's Cassano goal. They certainly got that right. To be fair, there haven't been many close calls this tournament anyway.
The problem is they don't make any calls and are therefore useless. Sweden really should've won this pool. In the end very strong pool on paper, but the games looked more like coca-cola championship games than Euro 2012 games.

This is the Christiano Ronaldo show right here. A class above the rest of the players on the pitch. Cech also playing well. Interesting stat brought up on BBC that 53 fouls have been committed inside the penalty area this tournament, and only one of them has been by a defender. I definitely think, especially after all the red cards of the last world cup, that referees have been told not to make any decisions that will make the headlines.

That's been coming. The Czech's have been playing for penalties since the 35th minute. Was it not for Cech Portugal could have a couple more goals by now.

The conditions for the goalkeepers are horrible. If he wasn't jumping out of a patch of mud the greek keeper could've saved that.

I've never seen so little buzz about a penalty.

No, I'm not talking about disputing it, but none of the players even changed their facial expression, and the commentators kept talking in their usual voice.

That was an awful game of football. Hopefully tomorrow England can do what they've done so far and take Italy down a peg or two and play exciting football.

BBC seem very surprised Italy aren't ahead. TBH apart from the offside trap's utter failure England's defense has been great. Not letting Italy get clear shots.

I hope Italy or Portugal wins it. I'm a huge fan of Buffon (and have been for as long as I can rememer him playing), and I also like Balotelli and Ronaldo.

Spain are the worst team in the world to watch. Passing it around and waiting, even when they get a corner.
