I've been wondering why the libs hate George W. so much. Way more than Reagan, or even Nixon. It's a mystery to many Republicans. I think I have found the answer. The reason is because deep down in thier shriveled black hearts, they know that however the economy goes, whatever he does in Iraq, that Bush will go down as one of the greats. History will look upon him favorably, even if he doesn't get re-elected. They are bitter about not getting anything done with Clinton. That they had thier chance, and thier wonderboy was just average. When people think about Clinton 20 years from now, they will remember Monica Lewinsky. When people remember Bush, regardless of this upcoming elections results, they will remember his leadership after 9/11. They know that they cant destroy that legacy, and they hate him for it. They hate that he has one up on them. Your thoughts?

Ok, ok, I admit it. I hate Bush because he is great. And I hate America because of its freedom! You have discovered the truth with your brilliant post.
I dont even think Bush is great, but you know that he will be looked upon by history as great, while Clinton will not. The last great(by popular belief) president you guys had died in 1963.

Hughento... Bush isn't from Texas.
He's from Connecticut.

I love it whenever the talking heads on CNN and FOX say Kerry'll never play in the heartland because he's this elitist yalie from back east.  Wait, wasn't Mr. Bush born in New Haven, CT with a silver spoon in this mouth?  Didn't he go to high school in some fancy New England prep school?  Didn't he go to Yale and then get a Harvard MBA.

Now, Jeb...  Born in Midland, graduate of UT, and married to a hispanic.  There's a Bush country republican.

Oh, both Jeb and George are 16th cousins of John Kerry.  I love the surrealism.  Wink

That's strange that Jeb went to the University of Texas, seeing as how his father practically lives at A&M.

Go Aggies!

I think these things are part of the reason for some bush/republican hating:

1. Republicans (even in this forum) are always running around talking about how they are "more representative of Americans" like how Texas is more representative of America than Massachusetts. This is true, but only because Texas has like 3 times the population of Massachusetts. I would say California is more representative than texas because its population is larger. And larger population means that more groups, and more diversity of opinion can be represented.

2. This is despite the fact that 52% of Americans voted for so called 'liberal elitists' Nader and Gore.

3. This is despite the fact that many of people who picked Bush over Gore were democrat leaning moderates, but were swayed by a particular issue. Like coal miners voting against Gore's 'clean energy' ; or Steel workers voting against free trade; or Union workers and Catholics voting against abortion; or Cubans voting about Elian Gonzalez. I'm not saying that all the members of these groups were single issue voters, but i think it can be said that the election was close enough that 'defectors' due to these issues were able to sway the vote.

This isn't the only reason of course, but it certainly doesn't help. I hate people who try to paint me as some liberal elistist simply because i think women should have control of their own bodies, and that killing thousands of innocent iraqis is not neccessarily a good thing.

First of all, your a complete moron if you think California is representive of the United States. And women can have control of thier bodies, as long as they arent killing somebody else(aka little babies). And Republicans are more representitive of REAL Americans. Libs get all the votes because they use all of thier media power to get morons to go out and vote for them. I will say that most Americans are complete idiots. They will go vote for whoever thier favorite Pinko celebrity says. They believe what they see on TV. People like you who jump on the bandwagon of some psychotic ranter like Dean or Gore. You want to have somebody to hate, so you hate George Bush. You think that because Goerge isnt going to hand you a job, he must be evil right? If he kills a thousand Iraqis and 500 Americans, it isnt worth setting 24 million people free from thier slavery. I personally know what socialism does to a country, and Communism happens because of fools like you.
