It's not in any state, but if it was, it would be Oregon.  Matt Groening is from Oregon, his dad is named Homer, his mom Marge, his grand pa is Abe.  Clearly Matt=Bart.


Or it's Oh, hi Maude!

That seems plausible. Oregon has mountains and a sea shore, tornadoes and blizzards.

They unofficially live in North Takoma.  The state abbreviations used in the show are NT and TA. 

Where would you allocate "North Takoma"?
