Probably too high for Obama, but obviously safe for him. Why do we even need polling of New York?

Well, Siena is a New York-centric poll, so they'll obviously poll statewide races, even if the outcome is already known. I think that if they continue to get the statewide elections accurately, it'll maintain their credibility for down-ballot races, which are much more interesting in New York.

And besides, most people on the partisan sides of the divide occasionally enjoy watching their opponents getting smashed in their safe states.
