So, let me get this straight: You seriously believe that black voters think about this, and not the many, many other reasons (healthcare, urban issues, etc) that they have legitimate policy disagreements with the Republicans on?
Believe it or not blacks do think about more than one thing at a time... It's not an either or situation, and the birtherism, baseless attack on Shirley Sherrod, and the auctioning of a rifle to celebrate MLK day all contribute to black voters turning away from the Republican party.
