The only way I can see the Democrats pick up a Senate seat in Maine this year is if Olympia Snowe is defeated in the primary, and even then she could probably pull a Murkowski and run as an Independent. I think she won with more than 70% in 2006.

If Olympia Snowe is the Republican candidate, it will be Safe R.



Unfortunately I have to agree with this. Maine should really dump those two "moderate" Republicans.
