What should the highest income tax bracket rate be? (search mode)

Regarding an income tax, I think it should be:

#1 a progressive system with rates between 1% and 25%		1 (1.5%)
#2 a progressive system with rates between 1% and 50%		23 (34.3%)
#3 a progressive system with rates between 1% and 75%		13 (19.4%)
#4 a progressive system with rates between 1% and 100%		10 (14.9%)
#5 a flat system with a rate between 1% and 25%		9 (13.4%)
#6 a flat system with a rate between 26% and 50%		1 (1.5%)
#7 a flat system with a rate between 51% and 75%		0 (0%)
#8 a flat system with a rate between 76% and 100%		1 (1.5%)
#9 there should be no income tax		9 (13.4%)

Also if you're deciding between the progressive income tax options just pretend that your preferred tax brackets (such as differentiating between $0-10k, $10k-100k, $100k-1m, $1m-10m, $10m-$100m, $100m-1b, etc) are in place.

Edit: I just realized it would have made more sense to list the options from highest to lowest (highest progressive rate to lower progressive rates to highest flat rate to lower flat rates to no income tax). Oh well Tongue
