Three out of five of the Tory leadership candidates are Scottish, Liam Fox, Michael Gove and Stephen Crabb(Born in Inverness).

OMG, wouldn't it be absolutely hilarious if Scotland became independent and Gove went from Prime Minister of the UK to private citizen of the Republic of Scotland? Cheesy

Scotland would not be a republic. At least to in the near future.

Its ridiculous that May can win 60%+ of MPs and still potentially lose to Leadsom. I don't think any candidate has ever won a majority of MPs in prior Tory leadership elections under this format; it's absurd to think that both Government and Opposition could end up with leaders who have been roundly rejected by their parliamentary parties. Leadsom should drop out, and immense pressure should be placed upon her to do so until she does (although May would best avoid getting directly involved). There should at least be a push to have a "consultative" final round.
