On the plane I just saw:
1) The Magic of Belle Isle
2) Seeking a Friend for the End of the World,
and well over half of
3) Rock of Ages

What a funny lineup it was too, and I enjoyed every bit of it.  I was very sleep deprived though.

Overall a very riveting film, but the final chase scene with the Revolutionary Guards seemed obviously contrived. The implication that Canada had been allowed to take credit for the operation also seemed rather unkind and untrue. A rather enjoyable film in any case.

I also thought the expository treatment of the Shah was rather unfair and heavily drew from Marjane Satrapi's Persepolis in any case, but that's just ideological. One very minor nitpick is that I noticed when the consul in Istanbul was "correcting" the visa, he was crossing out "Kingdom" and replacing it with "Islamic Republic", but the Shah's government was not the "Kingdom of Iran" but rather the "Imperial State of Iran".
