Yes, of course. It will start in about 39 hours.

One would have thought this would have been announced! Well, now we know.

I should have made a formal announcement. This is another instance in which I am made aware that something which I see as self-evident and obvious apparently isn't to everyone else. Apologies.

The fact that no one really noticed or took much interest in the Senate vacancy until the last minute, however, speaks volumes about the current level of engagement with Atlasian politics.

I have been dropping "anvil sized hints" about my intention but did not want to declare prematurely.

I mean PR's vote could be invalidated because he changed regions during the election period, but I don't really see why that's a problem for a federal election, and I see nothing wrong with Xahar's  vote.

Xahar did not actually vote. He submitted two images, one of which expressed support for a "DEVS NATVRAE". I might be a latinophile, but that's not a person.

Whatever, whatever. I withdraw my contentions. Let Labor have its "victory".

Alfred loses a vote, Deus gains one.

The only thing to do now is for Labor to start invalidating votes, I guess. Roll Eyes

I hate to seem vindictive but this is positively hilarious. The perils of strategic voting.

It's so amazing to see you being pissed off you know Tongue.

Well, no, I was hoping it's spark off a wave of invalidations that would result in my being bumped up. Tongue

We need secret ballot elections. I hate how in every election people are trying to strategically alter votes in some way.

This is what I was thinking.

Why do you keep on saying this? Cincinnatus preferenced Alfred, not Deus, so Al wins.
