Governments dictating what can be done on private property is a good thing. I can't murder on private property, rape on private property, store drugs on private property, construct a nuclear warhead on private property, etc. All this is regardless of what the "owner" says I can do.
You might point out that I gave a bunch of examples of things you can't do. OK, then: I can walk on private property (sidewalks), I can attempt to sell things on private property (door-to-door).
