I'd be shocked to find a Republican that doesn't make favors for religious anti-gay groups, especially in 2001.

The government giving funds to an advocacy group?

That is abominable.

But Planned Parenthood is fine amirite?

Planned parenthood has a purpose and that's to make sure men and women can make healthcare decisions (women can get birth control) and get tested for diseases (such as cancer (mammograms), STD's), get help with topics concerning pregnancy, (sex, sexual orientation/gender), and rarely performs abortions. Planned parenthood is a necessary program while these anti-gay groups are only hurting people who have done nothing wrong in the name of God.

Most abortions (meaning outside of rape, incest, or the mothers health) are basically as bad for society as homophobia is. Planned Parenthood doesn't ask questions, they just abort. I'm sure plenty of other organizations provide birth control, STD screenings, and mammograms but not frivolous abortions.

Explain to me why abortions are worse for society than anti-gay groups and why you consider them "frivolous".
