Most Serene Squirrel seen with Senator Hillary Clinton, photograph taken before the great beheading.
(Minneapolis, MN) In a strange turn of events, the Most Serene Squirrel has endorsed Charles Darwin, a write-in candidate, for Governor. In his statement, he stated FitzGerald's support of creationism being taught to children in public schools and FitzGerald's belief that Midwest voters make stupid decisions as the reasons for endorsing Darwin.
In this race, which FitzGerald leads Darwin eight votes to seven, this endorsement could change the dynamics of the race. The race, with an unpopular incumbent running against a surprise write in bid from a scientist who died 150 years ago, is expected to have low turnout, with low enthusiasm on both sides, but many political analysts predict FitzGerald will eek out a win based on the strong support Labor candidates have seen in the past.
