especially for those of you who do not agree with your family members political views?  This would also include events like Thanksgiving, Christmas, get togethers.... or even just visiting your parents, grandparents, etc.

For me, I remember I always felt really uncomfortable at very conservative uncles' house during the holidays because politics would always be brought up and I never felt it was appropriate to comment on it or contradict the host's views.

I don't even push back very much on family's views when they say something I really disagree with because I do not want to cause the stay or time spent with family to become sour.

What are your thoughts?
