I'm going to make this prediction now.  As much as I admire Hillary, I don't think she's going to run.  Chris Christie will be the next President of the United States.  As a Democrat, I have mixed feelings about this.  If we have to have a Republican President, I'd rather have him than any of the wingnuts.  What I'm afraid of is that he'll actually turn out to be a good, moderate President.  He might unite the country more than Barack Obama could.

I see in Chris Christie a kind of Eisenhower.  He'll be the first Republican President since Reagan that wasn't a Bush.

And yes, the media is in love with him.

Why would you be afraid of someone turning out to be a good president who unites the country?

Because it would make the left-wing look bad, which all democrats are afraid of, of course.

In America, the opposition party does everything they can to make sure the President does not succeed.  At least today.  Well, at least the Republicans with President Obama.  Republicans would rather the country suffers tremendously than President Obama be a good president who unites the country.

What I'm afraid of is another Republican President.  Especially one that doesn't believe his own child should be able to marry because they're gay.  Chris Christie is a moderate only in a far-right party.  He'll toe the Tea Party line once he gets out of New Jersey.
