If 55% of Americans truly think Trump's term was a success, America is doomed.

I don't see how Biden wins this election with the numbers that are coming out. Americans have collective amnesia from the Trump nears and just miss how life was before the pandemic.

I will say that if these numbers, and other polls like them, are accurate then Biden is, indeed, toast.  But what about the opposite? What if, in spite of all the polls about approval ratings and likely voters, Biden solidly, if perhaps narrowly, wins re-election?

Will Republicans admit Trump was a terrible candidate, and re-nominating was at least foolish? Will we (Atlas, the general public, the media) finally admit that polling has died with landline telephones and the Greatest Generation, and that the entire "horserace" narrative the media loves to build is a big, stinky load of Donald Trump utterances?
