God no. Talking with people is how you AVOID war.

I despise the deplorable Trump-cult with a passion, but don't think we should stop talking to them. (Even if it is mostly useless, because they don't having functioning minds.) Russia is nowhere near as bad or dangerous.

No. Diplomacy should not be a pawn of politicians looking for scapegoats for their failures. Bad precedent.

The democratic party is officially insane. They've secluded and deluded themselves about the world so thoroughly that they've lost touch with reality.
