It seems Italian American conservatism is of a kind of practical "law and order" nature.  It's neither a moralistic Bible Belt type conservatism, nor do they seem to be huge free market ideologues.

A lot of Italian Americans own small businesses and they seem to be underrepresented among the "liberal class."
