This was a stupid thing for Kerry to say. I don't know if it's true or not, though I hope it isn't, but he played it very poorly. Kerry: "I was endorsed by important foreigners. What? You want to know who? Well... none of your business! Hey- hey- what party are you from. You heard me. Whta party? Who did you vote for in 200. Whozat!? Who!? Alright, that;s what I thought, thanks."

Whoo! We just need a couple more o' those, Johnny boy!

Hey, remember back in 2003 when all the libs were lecturing us about how the treaty of Westphalia forbade us influencing foreign politics? What happened with that?!?

It's not the socialism that really grates me, as much as that distinct anti-patriotism, uncomfortableness with too much Flag, quickness to blame our country for problems overseas, and so forth.

He was probably a heckler (I don't think the word spy is really appropriate), and of course both sides do this all the time, even at like the city councilman longshot candidate of Nowheresville's barbecue.

Kerry, however, handled this entire episode badly. He messed up by saying these people had endorsed him (true or not), messed up again by hiding names, and he looked, at least on TV, like he was really mean to this fellow.

I, for one, very much appreciate the foreign input on this forum, which I think raises the quality of membership for everyone here. But when you're the leader of a country, you're held to a different standard. Still, Gustaf, please don't abdicate!

I have a lot of respect for leaders in Europe, Latin America, East Asia, and the Middle East who have been strong allies throughout this campaign. Most notable perhaps are the Eastern Europeans, who know what totalitarianism means and were relieved by American policies in their lifetime. To those brave allies, thank you very much.

Kerry has also been endorsed by former Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohammed, Kerry refused this endorsement and rightly labled him an anti-Semite. Kerry was then endorsed by Spanish PM-elect Zapatero, elicitng this comment.

In fact, Kerry is taking the right approach now. But he sure took his sweet time getting here.

Mahathir Mohammed's widely publicized comments at last year's meeting of the organization of the Islamic Conference recognized that the Jews effectively controlled the West in various interconnected ways and were using this power to eternally suppress the development of the Islamic World. PM of Malaysia for 22 years.
