So, why can't our territories vote in their own laws regarding "sex crimes"?
What is the need for federal legislation here?

Because they are "federal" territories, which do not form part of any Region

Yes, but they have self government powers, which can, of course, be overidden by the federal government. I'm not saying there isn't a need for this bill, I'd just like to know what is wrong with the current laws the territories have in place for this crimes that justify federal intervantion.

As for the gun rights act, as you said it had a constitutional justification.
As for the abortion thing, I think I was away during that time, but I certainly don't recall actively supporting it.
