MANN will most certainly not be calling any races until we actually know what will happen. We practice careful strategies when anaylizing results. All the races except Districts 2 and 3 are tight races.

The National Atlasian: BREAKING NEWS

The National Atlasian has just received information from the bureau of elections in Mississippi, Texas, and Florida will not start counting absentee ballots in strong Harry areas due to voting machine irregularities, because of this we will be retracting our projection of WMS in District 4.

MANN reports there were no voting irregularities, just a pre-mature call on the National Atlasian's part.[/i]

At 9:05 EST MANN calls that Governor Wildcard will retain his position.

There were voter irregularties, which is why our tally went from 75%-25% WMS to 63%-37% WMS so quickly

It went from 3-1 WMS to 5-3 WMS. That's not much. That's just failure to realize a small amount of voters had voted.

Supersoulty will win while getting 55-60% of the vote.
True Democrat will win while getting 48-53%.
Siege will win while getting 60-65%.
Al will win while getting 50-55%.
Hermit will win while getting 45-50%.
Gabu will win while getting 50-55%.
Ilikeverin will win while getting 45-50%.

Let's check that out.
Currently, Supersoulty has 50%. Off by 5.
Currently, True Democrat currently has 53%. Right on.
Currently, Siege (NickG voted for Bulldog here) has 63%. Right on.
Currently, Al has 87%. We did have him winning.
Currently, Hermit has none, but WMS- his close ideological buddy, has 62%. Relativly accurate.
Currently, Gabu has, when using Pref. Voting, 58%. Awfully close.
Currently, Ilikeverin has 29%. Off by 16.

Overall, we have the percent in 2 races and the right winner 2 more, 3 counting WMS.

MANN- We may not know how to get a life- but we know elections Smiley

Julien votes for True Democrat. 11-9 True Democrat.

Is that not inlcuding EarlAW's and Ethelberth's votes?

Yes. They are not included in my most recent voter graphic.

After much deliberation, MANN has decided to count the vote of Democratic Hawk for Senator Harry. It is now 6-5 WMS leading the Senator. In the next voter graphic, there will be a ? mark next to his name, to show that his vote is controversial.

I think that for every race that MANN gets wrong, it should write a nice piece on the "surprise" winner.

Sure, I'll probably do an analysis of all the races if I get enough time. It'll be on the off-site blog though.

SoFA Fritz has said edited votes will not be counted. So, DemocraticHawk's vote for Harry will be discounted. 6-4 WMS. He also said that if you change your signature, your vote will be counted. So EarlAW's votes make 10 all between Supersoulty and The Bulldog and 12-9 True Democrat over AndrewBerger

IT's 6-4 WMS not 6-4 Harry, only 11-9 TrueDemocrat by my count.

EDIT: 12-9 TrueDem, didn't notice EarlW's vote counting...

In District 1, Supersoulty is tied 9-9 with The Bulldog, who recently picked up the support of EarlAW in a controversial call by Fritz. Several Forum Democrats have indicated that they did not really want The Bulldog in the Senate, they just wanted to cast protest votes against the apparant winner. We remind them of the edit button, the one that may cost the Democrats Harry's seat.

In the Interim race in the Old District 1, True Democrat is leading AndrewBerger 11-9. This district did elect two left-wingers to the Senate, so even though the candidate experience is different by a large margin, there are enough voters that may vote on policy to give True Democrat the victory here.

In District 2, Siege40 has a 8-3 victory over Badnarikin04, with one write-in for The Bulldog.

In District 3, Al has a 14-2 lead over Senator TexasGurl, and has already made a victory speech.

The recent vote of Nclib brings Harry to within one vote of WMS, 6-5. However, Fritz has decided that Democratic Hawk, who voted for Harry, will not have his vote counted because he edited his post. This will cost Harry dearly, we project. He is down but not out at this point. KatieG of Mississippi still is likely in his corner, but WMS has more support as well.

In District 5, Gabu is winning 7-5-3, but StevenNick is right back in contention thanks to a vote from Mr. Fresh, who was presumed to be long gone. Using preferntial voting, it is 7-6 Gabu, so this race is very tight.

The Midwest Governor's race is tied at 4 all, with swing voter WMS going for Ilikeverin. Beef tried to vote for Dabeav, but his vote will likely not be counted because he lives in Wisconsin, which is in the Mideast. The pivotal voter here may be John, the not-so-lovable troll.

We remind you, only districts 2 and 3 have been called yet.

Al is currently winning by such a big margin he is not on our board. Districts 1, 4, and 5 are still competitive. True Democrat has a 75% of winning in D1 Interim, but that's not good enough for an offical projection

You know, that's really not good for your health, slamming your head against the desk. Tongue

It's not good for Atlasia's health to have StevenNick in the Senate.

That's right.  Now I can continue to be a "lier and a reactionary git" and continue to "stand in the way of all progress on education."

MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

http://afdems.serverbob.org/forum/index.php?board=9;action=display;threadid=49;start=15

On the same thread Akno urges Gabu to give up some core issues to get the UAC's support. Of course Gabu, being honorable, declines.

Oh, and on one thread RedefeatBush called me a borderline fascist. I love that board.

I did say later that he really is a moderate, but he comes across as very liberal for some reason.
