Boris Johnson to run against Livingstone

Besides, at least Boris' gaffes are a drop in the ocean in comparison to the tripe that Ken comes out with

Ken just needs to play the Londoner card . If I wasn't Labour, I'd likely support Ken against Boris for that reason alone. Like him or loathe him, his dedication to London is unquestionable

Is Boris' candidacy for mayor a done deal or do any other Conservatives have a realistic shot at taking on Ken?

There are other candidates, but none with name recognition other than Stephen Norris who always fell down on second preferences which it is hoped Boris would stand a better chance of gaining. With Boris running it would hopefully bring out the worst in Ken's nature and open up a rift in the campaign between himself and the party.
