Women should be held to the same standards as the men.  If they pass, then one can conclude that they are as fit as any man to serve.  Obviously, more men would pass than women, but this is not a problem.

Point is, if communist insurgencies can use women in combat, why not the real army? That kind of nullifies all the arguments against it.

Haha, by 'emotional environment' do you mean getting raped and otherwise attacked or harrassed all the time?

I think he's talking about more common situations - you know, like the drill sergeant yelling at you during drills and whatnot.
