All this provides is more proof that the Pope is the Jew loving anti-Christ...
Ok, in all seriousness, the Jews don't need to be exonerated for that, or at least not the ones who had nothing to do with it and all those who were born after the fact. Those people never should have received any blame in the first place. This should have been the official position of the church since day one, so it's a little late for this, but I suppose late is better than never.
