That's true, but fractured opposition is a sign that nobody really -likes- any of the alternatives to Harper.

Look at the NDP, and the Liberals and the Bloc. Nobody comes close to challenging the Conservative party in terms of MPs.

Even if the majority do not like the conservative party, they sure don't see much comfort in the other three (or four, if you count the Greens).
