You don't get the humor of "Fear and Loathing in the Pacific," eh? We were shut down and had strikes. I was making a joke. Our budget is still up in the air.

Can you say I've not been interested in the region? And where are you now, btw? NY?

No one says you're not interested in the region. You're still in the Pacific because opportunity arose, own it.  Just don't be a sh**tty Senator, and you'll be fine.
