Theres a few counties still not at 100% that are heavily Bevin, but i cant imagine it netting him more than a few hundred votes. I think Beshear's lead is safe.

Likewise I imagine there are an even larger number of provisionals that will be counted in the coming days, which should lean in Beshear's favor.

Doesn't look that close to me...

Though I fully expect it will continue to tighten.

At any rate, NYT has been garbage all night and far behind CNN's count - so if you're relying on NYT results, ditch 'em:

Counties in green = where 80% or more of precincts are reporting:

There are 5 decent swathes/areas where votes are outstanding:

1) black belt (meh, hardly anybody there)
2) uber-white MS that's hood's home turf
3) jackson metro (rankin and hinds will prob come close to cancelling each other out)
4) part of the white gulf (harrison and jackson are 75% in)
5) the columbus area

Whereabouts are IceSpear/TrendsAreReal/etc? Guess trends aren't real anymore, huh?

I mean, mocking the prediction that KY was safe R is of course fair game, but the trends WERE real in this race. Beshear won by about the same margin as he did in 2015 but with far more urban/suburban support and far less rural support.

Loving the new display name. I appreciate that you can roll with the punches.

NYCMM was certainly correct about Atlas (himself included) being wrong...

You may be somewhat correct regarding one of us; however, NYCMM predicted about a 3% margin when I spoke to him, so if Beshear merely got two extra points at the expense of Bevin, which isn't that far off.

Ah right! Too bad for him that the rest of us can read what he actually predicted...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_Kentucky_gubernatorial_election#Polling_3

I'm going to give Beshear the 46% in the latest Mason Dixon poll, the Lolbertarian 1%, and the rest to Bevin

Kentucky

Bevin: 53%
Beshear: 46%
Libertarian: 1%
This was non-final. I spoke to him on Monday night.

"I had this random convo with a poster and you'll just have to take my word for it so SUCK IT Atlas "
