Why didn't you count my vote?
The by-laws require existing registered voters to be registered party members for more than 168 hours in order to participate in an internal vote (similar to federal/regional elections).
This was added to the by-laws some time ago to prevent trolls and/or conservatives from potentially crashing our primaries or other internal votes.
This rule applies to existing registered voters, but does not apply to those who have just joined the game as new players (you might have noticed a couple who joined both the game and party only a few days ago whose votes were counted). Unfortunately, there were 3 or so voters who recently joined/re-joined Labor and who fell into this category, but it was just a case of timing and not anything targeted at any particular voters. Everybody here who cast a ballot will be eligible to vote in all subsequent party elections and votes as Labor members.
