Actually, if I recall correctly, DemPGH (Unfairly! He was ultimately vindicated) had an approval rating even lower than WB after the Thursday Night Massacre, reaching some ungodly level like 8-9% in one poll.
Well, he wasn't. Attempts at silly historical revisionism aside, SirNick being awful doesn't excuse DemPGH being incompetent and leading us to ruin and civil war, and alongside Tyrion more than deserves a place amongst "worst Presidents" ever.
(That aside I think the actual record belongs to "Napoleon", who once polled 11%)
The fact that the President was put in the hot-seat for firing somebody who
literally tried to kill him (in-game), cause global meltdown and who later deleted copious amounts of legislative record was arguably one of the dumbest moments in this game's history - especially when there was clear evidence at the time that the GM was acting maliciously. I suppose we all ended up paying the price for those machinations in the form of what came after, which was very unfortunate, but those initially cheering for his head played just as much of a role - if not more - than any President at the time.
