Obviously. But the Obama ground organization has done such wonders in 2012 that some reasonable hope is allowed.

Indeed. Plus, when you consider that Obama's org didn't do jack-sh**t in 2010, there's only room for improvement - especially among an electorate that is bound to be browner and in a climate that is less hostile than 2010.
