Is cat wash where you just kind of lick yourself? Is a cat literally doing it? Did you intend to type car wash, instead? So many questions.
A "cat wash" is a Katzenwäsche.
Maybe you cannot translate it literally from German to English though.
It's the sort of washing where you only wash certain parts of your body, for example the armpits, head/hair and/or genital regions.
Maybe you can help me out what the correct English term is ?
I think some call it a 'w****'s bath', though I would never use that term.
For myself, I always take showers, but if I were properly ensconced in wealth I would doubtless take baths in an enormous tub, washed attentively by feminine acolytes.
I always have heard this referred to as a "bird bath".
