I can deal with whomever.  I don't want to pass on the rightful person.  I mean, Gustaf never even responded to my question haha.

Can we wait 24-48 hours before submitting?

Damn you Lunar, damn you to hell! Thwarting me at every opportunity...

Actually, I honestly have no idea what you're talking about there. I just checked my personal messages and I see none from you since the discussion about who would play. I say you're just trying to keep me out to secure the win.

Anyway, Smid, if Happy is gone again and you want me to step in I'm willing. I'm usually more successful when I take over from someone, anyway. Wink

Well, I don't wanna clog down the game. The first move is only the first move, after all. So, I'm comfortable with moving ahead and I'll negotiate more for the Fall turn.

Clearly, I don't actually understand Diplomacy.
Can someone explain how the Austrian fleet took Greece?

Austria had one unit going in, supported by Serbia. You had one fleet going into Greece unsupported, so you lost. The unit in Greece cannot cut support on an attack going into Greece.

Oh, my preliminary builds still stand. Maybe I should've said that more clearly. Tongue

I'll be gone Wednesday to Monday with sporadic internet in the meantime. I'll give preliminary orders and I'm not involved in that much diplomacy this round (OR AM I???) so I'm fine with the game proceeding on schedule.

I'm leaving for Indonesia on the 16th of next month by the way.  I'll have access to computers, but I don't know HOW much access.

Gustaf, as someone who has been actually stabbed, I'd call taking one province with no other troop movements more like a prick Smiley [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_entendre]

Actually, you took 2, even if you didn't get both.

I'm out on spontaneous travel, will be back at the end of June. I have turned in orders for this week, but if anyone is willing to sub for me next week and the week after that'd be great. My first choice would probably be Erc.

I am willing to graciously agree to a draw in order to allow my opponents to save face. I will not even demand more than an even tie.

Oh, and while I have no principal objection to Erc taking over I will actually be home in a week, so the need is not really there. I do not think my position is very enviable anyway...

I'd like to remove the Portugal unit.

No, I'm kidding. Remove Clyde. I will remove the Portugal unit next turn. Tongue

Didn't go for the free SC in Tunis?  Wow.

Looks like France and I had a little misstep in Piedmont, probably my fault.  France will not be able to build in Marseilles because of that and I in Munich.

I'll build an army in Berlin.

Misstep? It's a trap, I tell you. Strike before it is too late!

I don't think we need a draw- I think Germany should be dictating peace terms!

MIAOW (the Meeting of Italian, Austrian and Ottoman Warlords) are ad idem on the issue of a peaceful settlement. The view having been expressed by my colleagues already within this thread.

However, Germany is not in a position to dictate terms on us. Opportunities for German advancement against us are few, if any. His opportunities for a significant number of simple captures against France are quite evident though. Presuming he times that right, then the Ottoman, Austrian, French and Italian State Heads might not be able to prevent an outright German win.

I cannot fathom of any reason for England being so excluded from these discussions, given the major role I am likely to play in the future battles.
