White Democrats in Louisiana were actually more Republican than the state as a whole? Methinks small sample size is to blame for that aberration of a result.

Given how extremely more Democratic the black vote is than the state average it isn't necessarily that strange. The white vote average in Louisiana must have been what, 75-25 or something like that?
