Don't bother, Nathan. Opebo's goal is to be the center of attention and to that goal he'll say anything he knows will offend or upset. Just ignore him and he'll go away.

It isn't about understanding, since I'm not trying to make him go away (nor am I upset). I just don't subscribe particularly to the notion that one should ignore certain things, mostly because other people fawn over him. And to the extent that anything on an internet forum matters, that sort of does.
