So, I'd like to turn in Oregon, New Mexico and Michigan cards for an additional 10, +2 in New Mexico. Of the 17, put 4 each in Maryland and West Virginia and 9 in New Mexico.

Then attack Maryland -> Virginia do or die and New Mexico->Oklahoma for as long as I have 3 attacking. Then await further orders.

In that temporary map you suddenly dropped all my armies in Pennsylvania. Sad

Whoops!  It was based off the last temporary map, before your return to Kansas too.

Fixed.

Is it mere coincidence that my armies always keep disappearing on your maps? Wink

Gentlemen, it has been a privilege playing with you tonight.

So, how about redirecting your focus to A&A? Wink

Why would we do that? It's hardly worth the effort, especially if you've just traded in a set. If you don't attack Lewis, then neither will I and then he wins. Any other outcome is better for both of us. Tongue

Won't you?

Obviously, if you have a set then I probably can't wipe you out on my own. But Gustaf and I together can (you'll have no cards left, so no reason on earth for Gustaf not to go for it). So maybe you should eliminate Gustaf's westerly possessions, thus also leaving Gustaf with no choice but to attack me and incur my wrath. Azn

That seems like his worse possible call. Wink

With the strong position you have right now there is no reason for me to attack Teddy. That would only strengthen your odds of winning.

Well, given your combination of card and region strength, plus the threats you leveled I don't think we have much choice other than ganging up. That ought to level the playing field to a position where anyone can take it.

You actually have more units than me. The Southeast is ridiculously undefended.
Also, of course, my threat was quite specific... it did not concern my Plains states, for instance. And I will act on it.

I might have more units, but I don't have a double-set of cards to throw into the mix...

You might have one. Or you might not. You'll have before long, anyways. Sad (Anyways you still can't use the NY troops for an attack.)

Yes, that's also a good point in my favour. Tongue Or rather in your favour, and thus in favour of attacking you.

I'm not sure whether I should pretend to have a set or pretend not to have a set to deter an attack on me. :S

Ok, been thinking long and hard about this. Given how far Teddy took his attack it'd obviously be way, way more beneficial to me to do as Bacon King suggested here. However, a word given is a word given. Sorry, Lewis.

2 in West Virginia
4 in Virginia
7 in Pennsylvania

Attack Pennsylvania->Ohio. Stop if I get to 4 or more lost units. If I win, put minimum number of units there.

EDIT: await further orders, regardless of outcome!

I'd like to turn in a set consisting of:

That should give me 2 each in South Dakota and New Jersey and then 23 to place freely. I'd like 6 of those I can place freely in South Dakota. I want the rest in Virginia.

Then attack South Dakota-Wyoming-Utah-Arizona-California, do or die.
Also go Virginia-Carolinas-Georgia-Florida-Alabama-Mississippi.

Then await further orders.

Ok, attack Missippi-Arkansas. If I take it with an odd number put the majority in Arkansas. If I take it with an even number put 2 more in Arkansas. Then go Arkansas-Tennessee and put all in Tennessee. Then go West Virginia-Kentucky do or die. Finally, move everything from PA to OH and end turn.

I'd like all of it in California. Then attack

CA-OR-WA-ID-NV-UT-WY-CO-NM-OK-KS-MO, do or die. Then await further orders.

So, I guess IL-IA do or die and if that fails then WI-IA do or die.

Since no one bothered to check I had to be a narcissist and do it myself:

Game I - I can't find this one but I think Jas won it over Fezzy?
Game II - Gustaf
Game III - Gustaf
Game IV - Fezzy
Game V - Fezzy
Game VI - Gustaf
Game VII - Bacon King
Game VIII - Gustaf

It should be noted that me and Fezzy has a bit of a Federer v Nadal thing going, in that I think we only met once and he won that one (although that was Lewis' fault...)

Yep - fezzy would get his revenge in the game BK won.

Think I came second a couple of times as well - Game II and III anyway. (Game II's undoing I still remember quite clearly.)

Yes, I also recall you being close a couple of times. And I think I especially remember that weird time that MaC (was it?) did you in by crazy moves which gave me victory.

I don't remember that.

Well, you destroyed me on the first turn. Tongue
