This looks like just good old fashioned thievery.  A quick smash and grab and from the POV of a common crook, those laptops were obvious portable wealth.  If anyone is going to make political hay out of this, it should be Kerry, as this could be used as an example of Bush's neglect of homeland security. Smiley
