As important as the freedom to buy cheap Chinese imports is, I don't think it is an important enough civil right for us to be commemorating the day that the first Wal-Mart store opened.

If it weren't for Title VII of said Act, I might change my vote but frankly I feel employers should have the right to be stupid and use non-job performance reasons to select employees.  Title II is a little broad, but considering that people should be able to expect public accommodations to be available while traveling without having to make extra arrangements, and not being able to do so can be considered an infringement of Article IV Section 2 Clause 1, especially when backed by State laws, the situation in the South warranted that broad intrusion into the rights of proprietors to be stupid. Wouldn't say that entertainment venues should have been included within the meaning of "public accommodation" though.
