Regular balloting begins Thursday, June 22, at 20:00:00, and will conclude on Sunday, June 25, at 20:00:00 when the regular election booth opens. (All times Eastern Daylight Time)
Votes cast in this thread at a time other than stated above will be declared invalid. If you cast both an absentee ballot and a regular ballot, both ballots will be declared invalid.

If you have any questions about voting in general or this election in particular, please send the SoFA a Personal Message or ask in the Jim Fritz Celebratory SoFA Thread.

Be sure of your ballot before submitting.  Editing or deleting and reposting your ballot will result in the invalidation of your vote.

Campaigning in this thread will result in the invalidation of your vote.

Voting is conducted using instant runoff voting.  Rank candidates in order of preference.  You may choose candidates listed on the ballot or you may write in the name of persons not listed on the ballot.  You may list as many persons as you wish or you may select None of the Above.

To be eligible to vote, you must have registered to vote 10 days prior to the commencement of this election's regular balloting and must have made at least 25 posts in the 8 weeks (56 days) prior to that commencement.

Results of the June 2006 Senate and Presidential Election

78 ballots were cast in this election, 14 of which were absentee.
3 ballots were invalidated, those of Fritz and OWL for inactivity, and that of Inks.LWC for failure to have registered in time to vote in this election.

Presidential Results
4 tickets were on the ballot pus 3 additional tickets, those of ( Everett / Texasgurl ), (Earl Andrew Washburn / Speed of Sound ), and ( NixonNow / Mike Naso ) indicated their acceptance of write in votes in a manner specified in the Candidate Declaration Regulations.  All preferences for tickets other than those 7 tickets were discarded.

Of 75 valid ballots, 1 vote was received for None of the Above. Since this was not a majority, the None of the Above option did not succeed.
