Trump would need to change his campaign to have a chance and he's had amply opportunity and reason to do so for months and he hasn't done it. I have zero worries that he can turn it around. My worries are that something happens to cause him being replaced on the ticket by a competent general election campaigner.

Honestly I think that would have the best outcome, because there's a large chunk of Trump's base who would either not show up at all, or do whatever they could to get Trump as a third party on as many states' ballots as possible.

I was trying to be subtle about it, but at this point the only way Trump isn't at the top of the Republican ticket come November is if he is dead or in a coma. I may have a low opinion of Trump voters, but not so low as to think they would vote for him under those conditions, tho they might stay home.

I'm going to love bumping this thread come Election Day when America is Made Great Again, from the biased premise to all of the red avatars thinking their candidate is invincible.

I am not worried at all that Trump will turn it around. I am looking forward to when he does.

A more traditional Republican would have had a decent chance of beating Hillary in the general election, but the same factors that propelled him to success in the primaries play against him now and he hasn't been able to pivot.  Mere campaigning will not avail Trump now.  He needs an October surprise top have any chance at all.
