I really wouldn't trust anything CBS touches at this point outside a Christmas special. The fact that people only just now realize Rather might be biased shows how much he gets away with over there.
Anyway, Cheney had stronger lines, more applause lines, he hits hard without being super angry. I like Cheney, he lays it all out for you, the facts, the analysis, the conclusion. Very reasonable and very intelligent guy. That's what even his opponents said of him in the House. While being a Representative, many people thought Cheney was a moderate because he was known to be respectful to everybody and polite all around - though obviously he was near Ron Paul level in some of his views.
