He will resign as chairman of the Republican Governors Association but will remain governor.

Family Values my ass!!!

Did Sanford ever really campaign on "Family Values?" He always came across as more focused on his libertarian streak.

By the way, I do think he ought to resign only because he left the state without letting a damn person know. There is no excuse for that.

...says the King of the ad hominem.

LOL yeah! I'm the King of it. Sure. Meanwhile, in reality, we recognize someone you admire (BRTD) bumping threads and creating topics to attack people.

I admire BRTD? I think he's a fun guy to talk to at times but that's about it. Anyway, if we counted up the amount of ad hominem attacks made on here by you and him, I'd expect you to soundly topple him. Maybe I'm wrong though.

The kid that makes threads and bumps posts just to rub in wrong predictions would be "soundly toppled." Yeah, ok.

Sanford had a political future?  When I watched him, I never thought so.

Amazing how you always say this type of stuff right after major bad news comes out about the potential candidate (Sanford and Ensign).  Tongue

About Ensign, I've never posted it, but I've always felt it.

You posted something about how he never had a chance in the U.S. General Discussion thread on the subject.  Wink

Funny.  You know what I meant.

Wait, what? I thought you meant that you never said Ensign never had a chance. I saw that you did in a U.S. General Discussion thread.  Tongue

Strongly against Gay Marriage and Gay adoption as well

My question still stands.

Some gossip shows here (dubious sources though, nobody should take them that seriously Tongue) say that he was with Karina Jelinek, an argie model.

Let's give the guy some credit. He has waaaaaay better taste in women than Bill Clinton.

I knew that like your mentor Silvio you'd appreciate the beaty of the female form. Wink

Well, she might be a little too big and her face isn't that great looking (in the first picture especially) but she's still "wow" worthy.

The second picture is the best.  Smiley

Apparently that's where all this Appalachian Trail hiking took place.

To those comparing this to Spitzer, how is it in any way comparable besides the fact that he was unfaithful to his wife?

Well, if what Lief posted is true, adultery is illegal in South Carolina. Otherwise, I agree that this isn't like Spitzer at all.

Give Elliot Spitzer some credit too:

It doesn't count when you have to pay.

Yeah, exactly but she is hot.
