I'm pretty sure I remember them saying something about it being time for a change this year...

Yet another reason, if true, to not like Pepsi.  Smiley

Other than being circular and red, white and blue, I see no similarities. Since the old Pepsi logo was also circular and red, white and blue, I see no evidence that it was based on Obama's logo.

It's just so...modernTongue

Historically,  Republicans have promoted Pepsi and Democrats have promoted Coke.

I'm a Coke Republican... I guess its the moderate in me coming out there.

I'm a Coke Republican as well. I really don't know what Winfield is basing the Pepsi/Coke party allegiances on. Then again, it's Winfield...

The Pepsi Challenge

Overseas, some 15 years after U.S. Vice President Nixon and Soviet Premier Krushchev visited the Pepsi-Cola kiosk at the American Exposition, Pepsi became the first American consumer product to be manufactured in the Soviet Union.

I hate .pdf files and I have no reason to open it if it's just a longer version of what you posted. None of that is relevant to it being favored by Republicans.

I actually saw a poll once that said that those who identified as Democrats preferred Pepsi and those who identified as Republicans preferred Coke. Neither margin was overwhelming though.

I believe that (mainly because I would prefer that to be true).  Tongue

Maybe it's because most Americans see red (Coke color) as Republican and blue (Pepsi color) as Democratic...
