He eventually joins the GOP and runs for State Representative several times before winning his party's nomination. In the same year that he wins the nomination, he wins the seat he has been vying for and serves in the State House for ten years, establishing himself as a maverick reformer. He retires after five terms.

Is a successful State Senator, then he runs for Congress in a conservative district and wins. He serves 4 terms in the US House and then he is chosen to be the Republican nominee for Senate. He loses by 18% to Bob Casey III

1) I'm probably never getting elected to the State Senate in Philly. My district is the best shot for the GOP and after losing it in 2000, we're probably not getting it back anytime soon.

2) There is no real "standard conservative" district near Philly.

3) Bob better get to work if he plans on having "Bob Casey III" beat me. He has all girls.  Tongue  I love how I'd lose by 18% though.  Wink
