Yes, Kenya is still very much alive.  I'm taking steps NOW to prepare for it.

Are you like packing or something? Is that interfering with next weekend's Christmas tree decorating?

"Sneaky" a Christmas tree into one's room must be quite a sight. Just remember: Santa is watching!

Wait when did Bushie live in Philly???

I remember Facebook friending some local campaign consultant a few years ago and saw Our Dear Friend was a mutual friend. I was confused, intrigued and horrified. Turns out they were in some camp out by Villanova. Anyway, there was a point in time when The Hungry One was deciding on where to permanently set up shop: either Oklahoma or Montgomery county, PA. Talk about different universes. Could you imagine if he had moved here for good?

We need a Bushie/Mike Assad meet up.

Naturally, I'd be there.

Funny enough, I'm meeting up with an old friend that knows Mr. Moderate and former Forum great HardRCafe.

Oklahoma kids get 2 weeks off for fall break and Spring Break?

Just Oklahoma City because they are on a continuous learning calendar (aka year-round calendar) they start earlier and end later.  The other school districts are on the normal schedule so they only get 2 days for Fall Break in October and 1 week for Spring Break in March.

The OKC website says they get summer break from June until August.  How is that year-round?

...I know it only took a few clicks but why the hell would you take this so seriously that you'd check up on that? Did you ever think, "Wow. I'm visiting some website for a school district no where near me with no impact on my life to verify some dude's schedule?"

What was your second dinner? Burning minds want to know.

1 ham sandwich with mustard, pickles, and lettuce, a bag of Lay's Sour Cream & Onion potato chips, and a Diet Dr. Pepper.

The Diet Dr. Pepper was the most predictable item ever.
