Tonight. 10 PM. USA Network. It's a mini-series basically based off of Hillary Clinton's political life. Will you be watching?

I'm sure it will be a bit corny but it can't be worse than the other show I usually watch at 10 on Sunday nights (The Newsroom).

I heard they don't actually use characters from real life.  Nevertheless, I'll probably watch it.

Right but it's clearly based on Hillary: former First Lady, now Secretary of State married to a very colorful husband, expected Presidential candidate...

Only five minutes in and I'm already cracking up. This will be an entertaining series.

Well, I don't know anything about Veep but this is definitely a must see. "Pushing the envelope" would be putting it lightly.

Why are you watching The Newsroom? That sounds like self-flagellation.

It's a train wreck and I can't turn away.

IIRC you enjoyed The Office (right?), so you'll love Veep.

Important note: I liked it when it was funny.

The gay prince from Kings is in it, apparently.

I knew he looked familiar! And look at that: he's still playing a gay character.

You guys watched Kings? I liked that show. I remember the ad campaign on the trains...

I liked the first few episodes then sort of felt obligated to watch then just stopped. Tongue

The series has been great so far. I'm just getting around to watching this week's episode...

Anyone else get a kick out of the Aaron Schock character? Junior Republican House member from the Midwest, rated as having the "best abs"...having a gay affair.

And the Newsroom is one of the worst shows I've seen in awhile.

Thank you! I'm so tired of people saying how great it is. It's unbelievably corny. At least The West Wing had only a few corny moments. Newsroom is eye roll worthy more of the time.

Shut up the west wing was perfect Tongue

I'm a West Wing fan but come on. Don't tell me you weren't gagging at the corniness.
